For me, CS-Nation has been a great adventure. Over the past year and half we've become the corner stone of CS fansites..
Sadly, this site is very, very horrible right now. We have absolutely no new content, and we've become a cookie cutter news site, and it's my fault. CS-Nation has either outgrown me, or I have outgrown it. Either way I'm no longer "serving the community" as I should be. Without going into a long rant about it, I'm no longer CS-Nation's Webmaster.
Who is? Well, erm... I don't know yet. If you think you're qualified, send me an e-mail @ rze@counter-strike.net. You NEED to be experienced; this is a major site and will require updating and regular content.
Send me a résumé, not just a couple lines of text. Due to the effort required in maintaining this site, it's a requirement that you currently have no other projects or you're willing to terminate them. People with Half-Life/CS Fansite experience will get preference.
I'm aware of the timing, but this is not an April Fools joke. This won't affect my job @ the CS Crossfire.
Thanks to all the loyal visitors of this site, and our comment whores for standing with us while the site has become a pile of pogs.

The latest, and last, version of NN Bot has been released. It has many fixes including:
- Fixed the stucking
(no more jumping = high flying bots)
- Fixed the "new map crash bug" introduced in NNBot 1.1
- Fixed bot speed are now always 100% correct
(credits goes to Stefan for this one)
- Halfed the time the bots are affected by flash grenates.
- Introduced the bots for teamplay. You have to try it!! ROX.
- Made a NNBot-manual with all the usefull nnbot information.
- Introduced a new kinda "follow" cmd. (Check the manual)
- Made some CS 1.1 needed changes.
- Fixed the "when to use a grenade" algoritme.
- A bomb carring bot never passes a bombspot.
- Fixed dead bots chatting to live players.
- Fixed bug when bomb placing bot got shot at.

The annual GDC awards were held on Friday night and guess who won? Yes, that game we all love won two awards; The Rookie Studio Award and The Game Spotlight Award. Unfortunately Gooseman and Cliffe were not there to collect them. Well done to the CS Team for winning these awards.

CS.net have updated their downloads page with fixed 1.0 > 1.1 Mod version installers. The fixed installer has the correct version of de_vegas. Go here.
Cliffe also says: "I'm looking for CS 1.1 screenshots to update the screenshots page with. You may e-mail me a zip of your shots in .jpg format. Please no software rendering, and please use at least a resolution of 800*600. " To email Cliffe go here and click on the link.

CS 2D have added de_dust2, de_inferno, cs_italy 1.1, cs_seige 1.1 and de_vegas 1.1 to their list of 2D maps. Just incase you don't know what CS 2D is, here's the low-down:
"All the maps on this site are detailed floor plans, or overheads, of the most popular counter-strike maps.
The goal of this site is to supply the average CS player or the newbie a better understanding of where everything is located on a map.
